I couldn't imagine that I would be able to progress this much. When I started, my reading level of Arabic was not high, let alone reciting the Qur'an melodiously. However, with practice, patience, and the expertise of Sheikh Abderrahman Sabir, I was step by step, able to recite fluently. So much so that we read the whole Qur'an from cover to cover with the proper tajweed. Next to these excellent classes with great feedback from the sheikh, we also studied some canonical texts in the science of tajweed, such as tuhfat-ul-atfal, and al-jazariyyah, which developed my understanding of tajweed tremendously. I would advise everyone, regardless of skill level, to make use of the excellent teachers of this madrasah.

Our 10 year old son Irfan joined Quran classes November 2021. He had 0 knowldge about Arabic reading/writing. With effort put in by his very knowledgeable sheih Abdulrahman, Irfan exceled in Arabic studies. He is reciting Quran now and is up to sura Maryiam. Not does Sheih Abdulrahman teach Irfan Quran studies but also teaches him everyday life principles of Islamic life and how to apply them. We have tremendous growth in Irfans actuons and how he views things. His inspiring teaching has played very big impact in Irfans life and concept of understanding life of Islam. Alhamdulillah Ustaadh Al-Hefnawi is a very good teacher. He has helped me to perfect my recitation to the best of my abilities, by the permission of Allah. He is also very knowledgable; he can answer any questions I have about tafseer or seerah regarding the Quran. He has also helped me make a time-table to memorise and revise effectively, and is very flexible with when he can do lessons, making sure that I don't miss any lessons.
