Qur'an and physical balance:
Allah has depicted man in the best form, so he has given him his body to enjoy, and to be a container for his soul, since the Muslim is faithful to this body. Allah has given us the Qur'an as a complete guide to take care of himself, body and soul, and to deal with all aspects of life and its problems. It is the true guide to happiness in this world and the hereafter.
Allah is pure, he loves beauty, he loves to see his slaves in the best form and to see from his slave the demand for the cleanliness of his body and soul. For example, He said: "O Children of Adam! Take your adornment (by wearing your clean clothes), while praying and going round (the Tawaf of) the Ka'bah," AL-Araf. A man should wear his beautiful and good clothes when he takes way to Masjid.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The Miswak (tooth-stick) cleanses and purifies the mouth and pleases the Rubb." Nasaeii
He also said: "Had I not thought it difficult for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the Miswak (tooth-stick) before every Salat." {Bukhari and Muslim}
So, even cleansing the mouth and being free from smelly or food waste is an act of worship.
»O you who believe! When you intend to offer As-Salat (the prayer), wash your faces and your hands (forearms) up to the elbows, rub (by passing wet hands over) your heads, and (wash) your feet up to ankles» Al-Maeda:6
Besides, washing body parts such as hands, face and feet constantly is an excellent preventive measure to avoid germs and bacteria adhering to the body, as doctors do in hospitals. So, the divine command precedes medical information by more than a thousand years!
O mankind! Eat of that which is lawful and good on the earth»AL-Baqarah:168
«Forbidden to you (for food) are: Al-Maytatah (the dead animals - cattle-beast not slaughtered), blood, the flesh of swine..» Al-Maeda:3
Allah does not forbid his servants anything except for harm to the slave or for wisdom that only he knows.
The wisdom of prohibiting dead meat and pork is obvious to everyone; the accumulation of blood for a while in the dead animal makes his body a fertile environment for the growth of germs significantly and thereby increase the incidence of diseases. As for pork, it contains extremely harmful toxins and is also high in fats, especially cholestrol, which affect the arteries of the heart.
There is no explicit statement of sports in the Qur'an, but the prophet and the companions after him paid close attention to it. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) intended to prepare young Muslims for jihad, saying: "Teach your children to swim, archery and horse riding.». Also, sport helps to reduce the susceptibility to diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and obesity, and reduces the severity of depression.
«And if Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but He..» Al-Anaam:17
Faith to spend God the first way, faith goes a long way in the psychological treatment of the patient and the physical of the ailment.
Then the patient begins to take the reasons andvisits the right doctor for the situation, takes care of the necessary tests and medications until recovery. In Pakistan, an experiment was did in 2022 on the effect of listening and reciting Surah Rahman for some women with depression and anxiety disorder. The results indicated that repeated listening to Surah Rahman, in particular, reduces stress and increases the patient's response to treatment.
